Hey everyone! My EMT class has our first lab tonight with the following testable skills:
*Cardiac Care management /AED;
*BVM Ventilation: Apneic Patient;
*Oxygen Administration by Non- Rebreather Mask;
*Tracheostomy Tube Suctioning
Does anyone have practical tips that might make the lab easier?
(Tips I've already gotten include using my knee to keep the head in a good head-tilt/chin lift position while preparing for BVM ventilation and pushing the BVM against my leg during one-person BVM since I have small hands.)
Thanks!
Jennifer
