Just spent a few minutes running back through this thread. Google Wave would be a much easier way to revisit discussion forum topics.

Last month I wrote an article on social media in EMS for EMS Magazine. I am presenting on that topic at the EMS Expo later this month.

Hello Chris,

Interesting question. I mirror many of the comments made already; safety and patient privacy. We are discussing ways to use social media for educational purposes; notification of pod casts, CE sessions, medical ‘what if’ scenarios etc. I am also beginning to introduce social media in the classroom as a way to interact with students. (a bit of a learning curve for me. :-) )
