When I looked at the text of the link I was intrigued.... I'll be honest Pastoral and Wellbeing support for staff is something that is widely overlooked in EMS in the UK....particularly at tough times and also after tough calls.

I'll add that I am a Christian and whilst I don't go church on a Sunday, I like others follow religious believes in a way that best reflects who I am as a person.

I don't wish to start a war or entice silly comments but rather look for a discussion for the best practices in provider well being... Is a Facebook page the right idea?

Couple of issues - "Challenge all in the Medical Field through the sharing of God's word" and "Most of us, if we are honest, have wondered where is God in this world of hurt? I can assure you He is still in control and at work"

The first worries me and the second is a question that plagues many without a reliable answer...

I guess should EMS agencies have a Chaplin/ Faith Department. Should investment be made in counselling? How do we identify and approach the effects of EMS on ourselves?

I've seen nurses for world peace, nurses for the environment, we have the gay ambos page here on JEMS as well as every other group.

I dunno, I don't mind professional associations. I do feel uncomfortable when my profession/s are used to push carts though. Fro example if you got on the truck and started on my road to forgiveness, I'd kick you out.
