NEED SOME HELP MAKING UP SOME SCENARIOS FOR TRAINING THEY NEED TO BE SET UP LIKE THIS EXAMPLE
Dispatch: 20 year old female unknown medical it is 90 degrees outside in the afternoon
Arrive to find: Scene is safe. Female lying on the ground. She is responsive to verbal stimuli but barley she is confused.
Bystanders say she said she was feeling dizzy and lightheaded the next thing they knew she was on the ground and she was not responding when her name was called. She was sandbagging earlier in the day.
You are 5 minutes away from the hospital
Assessment should reveal:
• Airway -Patent Airway
• Breathing-rapid 24 breaths per minutes
• Pulse – 130 and strong
• Blood pressure-120/60
• Pupils –Equal and reactive
• Lung sounds –present and clear bilaterally
• Skin pale-pale, sweaty,
• History
• S- disoriented, Shaking, Muscle spasms in the legs
• A-NA
• M-NA
• P-NA
• L- A cookie and some chips, carrots with 5 bottles of water
• E-Was sandbagging
• O-time of call-to unknown
• P-NA
• Q-NA
• R-NA
• S-NA
• T-NA
• Injuries-NA
Treatment:
Basic: ABC’s, C-Spine Control, O2, patient packaging and transport to destination
Patient Response:
Breathing- 12 breaths per minute
Pulse- 120
BP- 120/70
ALS: NA
