I am really wondering about what principles regulate EMS at a country that does not have regulations...

Here at Panama usually we use U.S.A. regulations... So I need some one that know about tjsi topic... If we do not have official regulations for Ambulances at Panama, wich we can use World Heatlh Organizations... or what... I`ll be waiting for your comments...

One is thinking about sentence structure.

It depends what regulations you are after. In the UK For vehicle design, layout, safety blue lights ect we have a european standard CEN I think its called. All ambulance coach builders have to conform to key features.

Clinical standards are made from a committee of all the royal of medicine visible at www.jrcalc.org.uk

It would help to know which it is clinical protocol, vehicles, general ems management policies, ems law that you need help on?
Thanks... I`ll be usefull... But I also need American Standards that those ones are most commons at Panama....
Well, if you don't have official requirements for ambulances, why not design your own? Standards that might work for the more temperate climates of US and Europe might not be appropriate for Panama. This is true whether you're looking for vehicle standards or personnel standards.

If you're looking for vehicle standards, most US ambulances are built to meet federal standard KKK-A-1822F, though it sounds like NFPA is going to be taking over that job.
If you can avoid the US standard for ambulances, I encourage you to do so. The safety engineering crowd refer to the KKK specification as the "kill-kill-kill" standard.

There are some outstanding ambulance vehicles built in Germany, Norway, etc. that might be very useful to you.
El sistema gringo no servirá en Panama ... seguro. Hay que desarollar su propio sistema -- el nuestro es demasiado caro, e ineficaz. Te sugeriría que busques a la Organización Panamericana de la Salud para mas informacion.
