The Mosby or Brady EMT-B books are closer to what NREMT uses for the tests, as opposed to AAOS, however I think AAOS covers some topics more indepth than the other two. Like David said, use two. Whichever one the course requires you to use, and either the AAOS or Mosby.
$59 new? Sounds like a bargain.I am about to start my EMT-B training class and we were told that since it was a volunteer organization that there would be no out of pocket expense. and now they are saying that we have to pay out $59.00 for the 9th edition AAOS book. I am trying to get it for cheaper than what they want for it and I cant find anything other than one listing on ebay and that is all. Does anyone know of a website to get it from or a person who would lend it to me for the class. Please I am in need of help
