Permalink Reply by Tracey Baker on February 5, 2009 at 8:16pm The Mosby or Brady EMT-B books are closer to what NREMT uses for the tests, as opposed to AAOS, however I think AAOS covers some topics more indepth than the other two. Like David said, use two. Whichever one the course requires you to use, and either the AAOS or Mosby.

Permalink Reply by dr-exmedic on July 5, 2009 at 10:07pm $59 new? Sounds like a bargain.I am about to start my EMT-B training class and we were told that since it was a volunteer organization that there would be no out of pocket expense. and now they are saying that we have to pay out $59.00 for the 9th edition AAOS book. I am trying to get it for cheaper than what they want for it and I cant find anything other than one listing on ebay and that is all. Does anyone know of a website to get it from or a person who would lend it to me for the class. Please I am in need of help
