I am going to Ghana in November to conduct research on EMS systems and delivery of care in rural African countries. In addition to this I will be looking at telemedicine and it's impact on rural EMS. I am Looking for anybody that currently practices or has practiced prehospital care in Ghana to discuss protocols as well as an overview of EMS in Ghana or any other African countries. Little bit about me, I am an intermediate from Vermont, been involved in EMS for about five years and will be going to medical school next year, looking to compare EMS systems in the United States, Great Britain, and Japan. Either respond to this or throw me a message.

Thanks!

Not wishing to send people away from this discussion forum at all but you will probably get more feedback from discussion boards where contributors operate all the time in remote locations.

I am unable to give you insight into Ghana as I haven't worked there as yet.
