Wear appropriate PPE when outside - helmet, turnouts, goggles. Flying debris, branches, etc. can be pretty dangerous.
Stay out/away from moving water, unless you are equipped, trained, and part of a team that does swift-water rescue.Down power lines can kill....including by electrifying pools of water. Look before you walk!
Stay away from large trees when the wind is high. There seems to be quite a few rescuers hurt/killed when trees fall on them.
